Well, I guess it's about time to again post some photos from Lobau; while willow and poplar trees, the most common ones there, aren't that spectacular in fall, this one here indeed is a sight - Staphylea pinnata, typical for Pannonian climate.
And so are spurges (here, most likely, Euphorbia cyparissias).
Of flowers there isn't much left at this time of year when the first frosts are due to arrive soon; I guess I shouldn't bother you with yet another sunrose, you've seen too many here on the blog already.
Nor shall I try and bore you with yet another couple of autumn crocusses.
