I haven't written any Lobau posts for some time, and the reason is that nothing much is happening right now: early flowers still flower, but apart from that few does. The great egret still hides in the reed, and Lobau Hot Lands are still brown.
Only water levels have risen slightly, but that obviously is due to doting in water from Danube river (as there haven't been heavy rainfalls lately).
However, it won't be long now before everything's green, and soon there will be orchids, and other things and stuff. Just wait and see.
