Today I climbed a Wienerwald peak, the so-called Hoher Lindkogel.
I chose the difficult, stony northern flank where I also had to wade through a rough river (okay, there was a ford, but the water was icy cold nevertheless). From 267 metres I went up to 834 metres above sea level; it took me almost two hours because the route was so rough (and of course because I had to stop several times to shoot flowers).
(I'm really sorry but those were the only sights available on the peak - Hepatica nobilis, with cones of Pinus nigra, and in the background, that yellow flower, Primula vulgaris.)
