Pyramid orchid is not the most beautiful orchid in Lobau, not by a long way, but this one still is special because it is the only specimen of this species in the national park:
Okay, okay - it is most likely not the only one but merely the only one I found. Orchids are perennial plants, they grow out of a bulb and appear at the same place each year (or if they don't you know that something has gone wrong with either the bulb or the habitat); and this one of course also each year appears on the same place. (Which of course I keep secret.)
