Hawthorn everywhere.
Spring is 'taking off' when hawthorn flowers: each day you discover something new - a new plant flowering, or a new bush. It is impossible to keep up with nature these days. Even though, unfortunately, Orchis morio now begins to wither (with amazing, almost frightening speed, I have to say, after they were in full bloom for a magnificiently long period) there's something new to discover each day.
