global warming

It is much too hot.

Typical weather for january here in Austria would be five to fifteen degrees below freezing, clear sky, fog and at least little bit of snow in lower lying regions. Well, we had snow this year here in Vienna, twice. For a few days, each time.

Warm weather in mid-winter when it should be cold and freezing is a nuisance especially, and it doesn't help that the bicycle paths are mud tracks. My bike didn't leave the cellar since New Year's day (and might well stay there for another couple of weeks as a change of weather doesn't look very likely for the time being).

This shot was taken in the summer near Laxenburg, a short distance south of Vienna:

Well, probably I'll dig up a few other photos from my archives in the days to follow, while the weather insists on supporting global warming theories.
