Just in case you're curious what that lines yesterday were about: I got caught by a thunderstorm and arrived soaked through at home, and on top of that I've had a flat tyre in the middle of nowhere (where I had to fix it while it was raining heavily - which was quite tricky).
And the other one: I ignored detour signs and was caught in a maze of flooded roads; two flooded areas I could pass on foot but the delay caused by the detours I had to make (due to ignoring the detour suggested by road signs) probably were the reason why I didn't manage to escape that thunderstorm.
Here's again the flooded Hot Lands where I hoped to find typical summer flowers and grasses; no such luck, and I only hope they'll recover soon from that shock of too much water. It continues to be wet, by the way, only that now it is searingly hot during the day and as soon as I'm finishing work thunderstorms arrive on the horizon.
