mexico square

1938, when Hitler occupied Austria and made it part of his Third Reich, Mexico was the only nation in the world to protest formally.

Now it is of course not as if Mexico would have had any powers to force Hitler back out of our country, but the formal protest at least was some consolation for Austrian anti-fascists. Anyway, this square has been named after Mexico so that we remember history, and honour the memory:
