My favourite Würstelstandl (the Austrian variaty of fast food) in Lobau had open today. Big surprise!
The reason? Easy: ice finally is thick enough for skating. So besides the dog-walkie-goers there were also iceskaters in Lobau. It was a crowded place today - also because the weather was brilliant. - So the Viennese today had a big party in Lobau; and they most likely will have tomorrow again.
Because of that I fled into the reeds.
But even there I wasn't alone.
The snow by the way still is that little bit of powder snow which fell a few days ago: but as it is freezing cold even during the day it won't melt; in the morning we had even less than ten degrees Celsius this day, which is not so common in Vienna.
