Diego Alonso, un aficionado español de Andalucía, ha explicado a mi compañero y mi después la primera medio tiempo del final que los Alemanes siempre ganarían y como tiene miedo que eso tambien se pasería esta noche. Eso ha dicho cuando los Españoles ya han marcado un goal.
Después ha empezado orar - con mucho gravedad.
Mientras los aficionados Alemanes solo han hablado del victoria - aunque no han marcado nunca.
Todo eso ha ocurrido esta noche en Viena, en la zona de los aficionados, a la Plaza de los Héroes.
Es solo por eso que Español ha ganado la Eurocopa 2008.
The Spanish fans, even though Spain was ahead, didn't and couldn't believe yet that they would win, while the Germans until a few minutes before the end of the game were convinced that they surely would still win as if it were a rule written in stone that Germany shall win when (and not if) they reach the final. Only in the last minutes before the final whistle the Spaniards became more sure of the victory, and Germans slowly were becoming desperate.
And this, to cut the long story short, is why Spain did win.
