My heart was with Russia today, but it wasn't to be. Spain had Russia under firm control, especially in the second half while in the first half (which was influenced by a thunderstorm and heavy rain) Russia had slight advantages. They could even have won higher - even if this would have been hugely unfair to an ambitioned Russian team which, sadly, is still to unexperienced to achieve more. Russia has a great team with a great future, I suppose - not in this tournament though.
The turtle wishes from her hiding place in Lobau all the best to La Selección - with Spain the stronger team went through to the final. And as Spain overall has performed very well so far - while Germany hasn't - I would expect them to win the title too. But let's keep in mind what Gary Lineker once said: „Football is a simple game: 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans win.“
