On this bright sunny day with temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius (for the first time this year) my bicycle didn't take me to Lobau but, for a change, to the swamplands between the Schwechat river and the Danube.
What you see here is essentially drift wood - the remains of the last flood. As we hadn't one this year yet it has to be from the floods of last year.
