Today there was a thunderstorm in Vienna, while it was snowing. For a short time the city even was white like if it were still winter.
The snow won't last here in Vienna, nor on the higher slopes of the Wienerwald. Nor in Mühlviertel, Upper Austria, where this photo was taken, even though the twenty centimetres that fell there will last for some days at least:
Although even I would already appreciate springlike temperatures (all of my friends and next of kin are fed up with this late snow anyway) I am enjoying this late and picturesque winter very much. May it last for a few days still and then give way to spring at last.
