The persistent fog cover over the city of Vienna did not lift today; that's what I saw when looking out of my window:
And although it did snow lightly today it was snow out of the fog ('industrial snow' as it's called - if there are enough cloud condensation nuclei present then it's raining or snowing out of a simple fog cover, and as in urban areas smog will provide enough of them this is a rather common phenomenon in urban and industrial areas).
It's not the 'real' snow I was hoping for.
