an half-decent shot

Lacerta viridis
European Green Lizard is one of the kind which is common enough in (Eastern) Austria but very rare east and north of it. Here in Thaya National Park they're a daily occurrence but only in the morning they're easy to find.
This one here already had its first warm-up of the day, and thus was extremely quick to flee as soon as it thought it has been discovered (their vanity goes far enough to believe their beautiful scales will hide them everywhere). I was lucky to snatch two half-decent shots, of which this one is the more decent one.
