nothing special

Butomus umbellatus (48°07' N 16°27' E)
Okay, so this shot is nothing special, not really.
But the story of how I came by it is!

This flower, the grass rush, is relatively rare and here growing on a rather dirty side-stream of Schwechat river; to get there you've got to cross a doggie-walkie meadow (with doggie-poo all over the place), and even if you successfully manage to get through it, without your shoes getting dirty, the plant's still growing on the wrong side of the river and you've got to cross it if you don't have your telephoto lens with you (which I didn't).

So I put off my shoes and shorts and waded through the stream, in rather dirty water, did I say that already?
I got out alive again, with neither me nor my camera being wasted.
