Thank God that this is the shortest day of the year, which means that days won't get any shorter anymore, which also means that they actually will get longer from now on. That is, if Ragnarök can be pursuaded at all to chuck up the sun he'd swallowed before, so let's just hope that Erik the Viking will be played by Austrian TV over Christmas as Erik surely (again) will safe the world from eternal darkness.
