summer's gone

Even Old Women's Summer is (that is, your English Indian Summer). Temperatures have fallen far below twenty degrees Celsius - currently they're around fifteen in the lowlands, with snow even covering the higher peaks of the Alps already.

It is a little bit early for that - september oftentimes is a time of year with still warm and sunny weather periods - but it seems that autumn has us fully in its grip. And I'll try and make the best of it; after all, the shedding of the leaves only makes boring woodlands interesting.
