We had an argument, the turtle and I - she said that the Greek team is the worst one so far, and I suggested the North Korean team were. She held against this that even though they're hopelessly incapable of playing football they're still perfectly capable of defending their two goal posts against Brazil, at least for a time. And I must admit that she's got a point.
So very well then, let's award the Greek team with the Rotten Tomato; North Korea at least deserves the Wild Strawberry, for their successful effort of defending against Brazil for a good 55 minutes.
And what about Brazil?
They should be able to score five times in each half, against a team like North Korea; but they were rather static - and even though their first goal was ridiculously beautiful everybody would have expected a great deal more.
About the other two matches played today, again, not many words should be said - as they wouldn't be very nice ones. Let's just hope that matches will get better as the championship proceeds. (And that those vuzulus or whatever will be banned, the turtle at long last agrees with me on that account, as them vuzulus cause her shell to vibrate, which is very annoying as it gives her headaches - or so she says.)
