thunder and lightning

Wet and rainy again, with sun mixed in to make it muggy and hot - or so it was yesterday. Today, for a change, it is wet and windy and cold.

Meanwhile it is snowing again in the Alps, down to a mere 1500 metres (where by the way Alpine spring flowers are of course already flowering), here in the lowlands Muscari tenuiflorum opens its peculiar buds.

And so does the much more common Geranium sanguineum, despite all that rainy weather.

There are yet another couple of wet days to follow, or so they say, before summer might actually begin in all earnest.
