Ornithogalum vulgare (above) is flowering everywhere now, and most people herearounds don't notice them - well: not really, they don't. While they would notice the one below, Iris germanica, a cultivar hybrid (here not cultivated but an escapee from culture growing wild). I don't know about you but I find the white ones lovely while the blueish one is quite ordinary.
