What you see here is the border of Vienna and Schwechat communities - the border does not run along the road but in right angles to it.
As to why I'm showing you such an ugly place - well, this march's winter is still holding us in its firm grip; although the snow which fell recently again has melted away almost completely there's more to come tomorrow, and on the weekend.
I'm not exactly thrilled about the prospect, I expected spring to come pretty soon (so obviously Punxsutawney Phil still was right, there's still plenty of winter left). But today I could again observe that the buds of trees are about to explode - it'll need only a couple of warm days and everything will be green and flowering.
