I think you know this kind of landscape pretty well already but there can't be too many photos of Lobau Heisslände - the hot lands which will turn rather cold for the next half year or so.
These days we had most likely the last couple of warm days; tomorrow rain will arrive and temperatures won't rise anymore above fifteen degrees for some time. Also days are almost too short already to drive out to Lobau on my workdays, and anyway repair works on the embankment have begun (the dam, which is a valuable biotope, unfortunately is being destroyed in the process, a scandal really as it is part of the National Park) - which is why I will have to make long detours to reach my favourite places. And soon Waluliso bridge too will be disassembled (I still could cross it yesterday). All this means that I will only be able to reach Lobau on weekends; but at least I've taken plenty of shots to last me through those dark workday weeks of winter.
