No snow in this photo:
as it was taken before weather turned cold and wet. And this unpleasantly wet and cold weather yesterday produced a very few snow-flakes right here in Vienna (of which there's nothing left already) but quite heavy snowfalls in the Alps.
So no photos of Viennese snow but I hope I can deliver some of Alpine snow soon. And by the way, no it is not at all usual for snow to fall by mid october even in the lowlands; more so, we hadn't that much snow in the Alps for quite some time.
You know that we speak of "winter" here as soon as first snow falls? - Well, you do know now. So winter is here. Hurrah! (And I mean it.)
