fall is coming slowly

We had rather warm days lately and the autumn crocusses (Colchicum autumnale) seem to only reluctantly shoot out of earth; only in a few places there are already plenty while in some there are still none or only a few.

Colder weather is already predicted though, the change of weather actually has begun a couple of hours ago and tomorrow it should be rather cold already. Leaves too take on the colours of fall, like those here from wild wine (Vitis vinifera subsp. sylvestris):

And the waterlily (Nuphar lutea) finally seems to have recovered from this year's floodings; they're flowering again - but they won't have much time left for producing seeds:

So fall is coming evidently, if slowly.
