lobau

You might have noticed that yes, I do post much less plants here on my blog; I'm keeping my promise - my flickr photostream will receive most of them from now on. But on occasion you need to bear with me I guess, like today as I finally managed to take a picture with which I'm at least half-and-half content myself - a picture of trees overgrown by Clematis vitalba.

(The yellow flowers of course are Solidago canadensis - again. They're ubiquituous now, growing on every place you can imagine and on some where they're not supposed to grow at all, like some places on Lobau Hot Lands.)
