Yes, they're only weeds, and tough ones to get rid of if you're a farmer.
Rumex obtusifolius subsp. sylvestris, not a rare plant at all, not even particularily beautiful (but still nice, right?), and of not much use whatsoever - not even cattle likes to eat them (that's why farmers want to get rid of them, naturally).
