Here you see me walking (limping, that is) right through the swamplands of Lobau:

Here, in summer, water is about one foot deep; in winter these reed swamps are dry. And even where there's some water left it is frozen over completely.
Well, it is very nice to walk right through the reed. To be recommended, definitely.
