You probably remember the bee ophrys shown end of may on this blog.Well, bad news: their place has been physically destroyed by some heavy truck, or by a tractor possibly.
Basically there are two possibilities: some rowdies drove into the national park with fun vehicles, or national park workers did destroy this special place without meaning to. I personally think that the latter is what happened; it looks like the workers bringing in the sheep on to the orchids hot lands did it.
My guess would be that enough places for the rare orchid are left to not endanger this habitat: the bee ophrys will live on here. Nevertheless it hurts to see the place hurt like that.
