Just look at this gigantic willow. I know it very well, I've driven past with my bicycle many times.
But this tree is a difficult object to shoot. The light for that gave me this sunset, and to give you an idea of the size of this giant tree here another shot:
Some trees already are putting on their autumn colours and it won't be long till the forest really will look autumnal; we are however late this year as compared to last year, or more correct: last year many trees already put on yellow and read leaves long before the time should have come for that.
And that is probably what a bud of autumn crocus meant when she whispered in my ear today that it still were 'not time' ...
