I am absolutely delighted.
My first Morchella (M. esculenta - true morel, Speisemorchel). Found still within the city limits of Vienna.
I've been on the look-out for one for some years now (they do not grow in Mühlviertel, wrong climate and wrong habitat). Morchellas I have known only from books, so far. Strange if you see one in real life. Morchellas are very rare, according to the literature, and even though this one should taste excellent I left it alone.
