I declare hereby that spring has begun.
Winter obviously is over, with the first flowers showing. Yes, there might still be some late snow in the weeks to follow, but that doesn't change any facts.
Today was the warmest day of this year so far, springlike temperatures almost up to twenty degree on the Celsius scale - and this even before march has begun. This fine specimen of Anemone hepatica supposedly should not exist in february, the 'Leberblümerl' as it's called in Austria is supposed to blossom only in march:
