It is cold and rainy. This week most likely there will be even snow down to 1000 metres (3300 feet) above sea level (or even lower). In Muehlviertel, where I grew up, there might be snow, too - last time I remember that we had snow there already in september is when I was a child, more than thirty-five years ago.
After a hot summer it seems we get a cold autumn. We will see, time will tell.
As for today's picture, this was taken in Lobau national park. Some trick was involved there to make the tree look like that, but does a magician explain his tricks?
Not that I would consider myself a magician. Beware!
